Shock survey result: vast majority of Britons don’t give a **** about Olympics
With the London Olympics drawing to a close and BBC producers already in tears about how they’re going to fill up schedules once they cannot find an excuse to show endless replays (they might actually have to resort to reporting on actual news), Kicking Sport has roamed the streets to learn the opinions of the less-than-average Britons whose complete indifference has been optimistically overlooked during the past three weeks.
Our survey has provided a (not very) surprising result which is illustrated below when we asked the question:
Are you disappointed that the Olympics are ending this weekend?
Yes: 1,754
No: 4,013
Are you from the BBC or something, you boring ****? 25,989
How very dare you.
I fear I may cry during the closing ceremony.
I saw the news about Man United getting floated on the NYSE, and felt queasy.
Football can go shit.
Haha fair enough Michael, hope you’re well.
United’s owners seem intent on creating good stories on the stock exchange rather than the football pitch. Will be fascinating to see how that turns out.
I have to say it’s been riviting viewing most of the time – especially the german weightlifter who dropped it on his head, great to see beat the Aussies, French, Germans at something
Hi Stevo, I missed that weightlifting thing I’m sad to say! The success of Team GB has been something indeed.
