Film critics still prefer Boyle’s “28 Weeks Later”
Critics have reacted passively to the London 2012 opening ceremony directed by Danny Boyle.
Despite widespread delight at the display, film critics have argued that his works such as zombie gorefest maintain more cinematic merit.
Mark Kermode authoritatively stated, “As impressive as last night was, it lacked the dramatic impact of seeing Robert Carlysle gouging his wife’s eyes out.
“Now that’s entertainment!”

I had to go buy that film because of this post. I am still recovering from the “28 Days Later”, time to revisit the gore.
Thank you for reading. Not the reaction I was expecting but hope you enjoy the film!
