John Terry defence still aiming for clean sheet (a white one)
As the John Terry racism trial continues taking English football to new depths, his lawyers are focusing on the fact that he is British as the main excuse in that they can get away with arguing what he said was sarcastic.
Terry’s favourite colour
The defence stated, “Unlike Luis Suarez, Terry is English and is capable of using sarcasm.
“Actually we’re not sure about that at all but it’s what we’re going with.
“We have a list of other morons who will testify in his favour.
“As usual in English football no-one has a clue so why don’t we all just get along and go down the pub?
“We can provide a bad character reference for Anton Ferdinand from one of his ex-girlfriends.”
A vengeful Terry added, “Anton better make sure his wife’s under lock and key from now on.”
