No-one shocked as French meekly surrender
Bookies across Europe have been forced to cough up ‘en masse’ after France limped out of the European Championships with a pathetic 2-0 loss to Spain yesterday.

Despite going into the tournament on a long unbeaten run, Laurent Blanc’s men crumbled like the finest of their country’s cheeses when it mattered most.
Newly-bankrupt bookie Dave grumbled, “I should have laid off all bets on France squabbling with each other and giving up.
“But I didn’t and now I’ve got about as much work on offer as Spain’s goalkeeper.”
