Manchester not owed apology – Tevez’s mum
Carlos Tevez’s mum has insisted she will not apologise to the city of Manchester for letting loose her terror tot on them for the past few years.
A series of offensive and insulting actions and comments culminated in him holding up a banner saying “RIP Fergie” during Manchester City’s “victory parade”, but the Argentine’s mother remains obstinate that an apology is not required.
“Obviously Carlos has been a naughty boy on occasions but no more so than other naughty boys in the area,” Mrs Tevez told a Spanish language radio station.
“Look at Mario Balotelli and Wayne Rooney for example, then tell me why I should apologise and their mothers shouldn’t.
“They’ll have less justification for their arguments than anyone favouring Chelsea at the weekend will have.”
