Pep Guardiola adds to Spanish unemployment crisis
The worsening unemployment crisis in Spain has been needlessly aggravated by Pep Guardiola giving up his post as manager of Barcelona.
Local supporters are extremely worried at the news, not only because they consider him a great manager, but also because he could increase the competitiveness in the job market, especially for any senior management roles.
An unemployed man in the streets of Catalonia worriedly confided, “I’m really sad to hear he needs a break from football.
“Personally, I’m looking for a job in engineering so I hope he doesn’t want a career switch to my profession.
“Can’t imagine me beating him in an interview.
“He looks so good in a suit, too.”
