Andy Murray drafting thank you letter to Stephen Hester
Andy Murray is reportedly writing to RBS chief Stephen Hester to thank him for attracting the majority of public spite.
The Scot was knocked out of the Australian Open by the simply unbeatable Novak Djokovic and would have been in for endless undeserved stick if it was not for everyone being too busy fuming about Hester’s bonus.
A sneak preview of the letter is below:
Dear Stephen,
This letter is to express my sincere gratitude to you for being such a loathsome overpaid figurehead for banking and therefore becoming an irresistible target for British hatred on the day that I lost another Grand Slam semi-final.
Could you please reply to let me know who was actually responsible for awarding you such a whopping bonus out of the old Labour government or the current coalition one, so I can write to them too.
Yours sincerely,
A. Murray (Umpteen time tennis Grand Slam semi-finalist)
